UKCAT Eligibility
Who must take the UKCAT?
All EU and UK applicants must undertake the UKCAT. Candidates who have been educated in the one of the following countries must also sit the UKCAT before entering medical or dental school:

What if I was not educated in the EU, UK or countries listed above?
You will be exempt from taking the UKCAT. Your application will be accessed by your selected dental or medical school without a score.
When do I sit the UKCAT?
There is no a specific date candidates are given a deadline for which UKCAT must be taken.
Where do I take the UKCAT?
Go to the Pearson VUE website for a full listing of local and international UKCAT testing centres.
What happens if I get a offered a place at my selected university but I do not take the UKCAT?
Your application to the medical or dental university will be rejected.
How is the UKCAT marked?
There is no pass or fail marking for the UKCAT.
